When writing, please include your Payroll Number, National Insurance Number, and Date of Birth.

Your payroll reference has changed – please make a note of your new payroll number from your last payslip, as you will need to quote it if you need to contact XPS.

You may also need this number if you need to contact HMRC along with your NI Number.

They should be notified of the death of a pensioner as soon as possible.

Members of the police pension scheme can access their pension account by registering with XPS website for self service.

NEW XPS MYPENSION WEBSITE

As well as launching your new secure member portal, we’ve also improved and modernised the Police Pension Scheme website.

Visit www.mypension.com/police to take a look around.

Accessing MyPension
If you were previously registered for the old secure area of My Own Pension, you can simply verify your account using your existing username. When prompted, enter your existing username and your National Insurance number. Follow the on-screen instructions to set a new password (minimum 14 characters).

If you weren’t previously registered, and you’d like to register for MyPension now, please get in touch with XPS who will be able to provide you with your temporary registration details.
