Assistant Treasurer – Julie Heaton nee McGrath
Happily married with 2 adult children and 3 grandchildren to date.
Joined Merseyside Police in 1977.
Worked at Newton le Willows, St Helens and Prescot in uniform, incorporating foot patrol, mobile patrol and response driving.
Moved on to Special Branch port unit based at HQ, Liverpool airport and docks.
Then CID at Walton Lane.
Next few years in Regional Crime Squad dedicated drugs importation.
Then qualified as National Surveillance instructor teaching surveillance courses from the national training Centre in Derbyshire whilst continuing in RCS.
