Secretary: Ian Whitfield
Ian served thirty two years service with Merseyside Police, completing his first nine years service at St Helens. On retirement he moved into higher education and is currently a Senior Lecturer and Researcher in law, criminology and forensic psychology at Liverpool John Moores University.
Ian still works with police forces and law enforcement in the UK and overseas as part of his current role.
Away from work his interests mainly involve sport and music and he is a member of the Campaign for Real Ale (CAMRA).
Ian was elected to the position of Secretary at the AGM on 3 March 2026.
